The 2011 Annual Conference and AGM of the Prostate Cancer Support Federation was held on the 13th April in the Barnes Wallace Building at the University of Manchester.

Nearly 100 representatives of patient-led oCopiesrganisations attended a fascinating event which included presentations from the following:

Professor Ken Muir, University of Warwick: Predicting risk – a screening alternative?

Miss Louise Dickinson, University of London Hospital: Developments in focal treatment of early stage prostate cancer

Professor Paul Symonds, Professor of Clinical Oncology at the University of Leicester: Developments in external beam radiotherapy

Professor Nick James, Birmingham University: Developments in treatment of hormone resistant prostate cancer
