2012 Annual Conference and AGM

sponsored by

“Screening for prostate cancer - are we making progress?”

The 2012 Annual Conference and AGM of the Prostate Cancer Support Federation will be held on the 25th April in the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa, commencing at 11:00 am.

The theme for the event is prostate cancer screening, a topic close to the hearts of all prostate cancer patients, but not, regrettably to those of clinicians and public health experts. What can we patients do in the face of continuing denial of the value of PSA testing by those in a position to save lives of thousands of men? Speakers, who represent both screening enthusiasts and sceptics, include Professors Ken Muir of Warwick University and Norman Maitland of York University. Full details of the programme will be published in due course.

As usual, attendance at the Conference, including lunch, will be free to accredited members of Member Organisations. Places are limited to 100, and bookings will close on 6th April. To book a place, copy the text below, paste it into a new email, fill in the details and send it to bookings@prostatecancerfederation.org.uk, using the subject “Federation 2012 AGM Booking”. Alternatively, call the Federation Office on 0161 474 8222, and leave a message with the details of your booking.
